    Tatyanna Penrice

    2024 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT

    Tatyanna Penrice is the visionary behind Tatyanna Monet Designs. She's a proud Houstonian with a profound love for fashion. Tatyanna is currently pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts at the University of North Texas, She is on a journey to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a fashion designer. Her path to this point has been one of discovery and passion reignition. While the dream was always present, the steps to actualize it were unclear. It was at UNT where she found the spark that reignited her passion and purpose—women's streetwear. Working with denim and blending diverse textures and prints are her forte. Clothing is more than fabric; it's a statement of power and self-assurance. Through Tatyanna Monet Designs, she is committed to creating fashion that empowers individuals, ensuring that what they wear is a reflection of their inner strength and passion.

    Saniya Scott

    2024 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT

    Saniya-Symone Scott is a psychology pre-med major at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. At Spelman College, Saniya is involved in the Spelman Chapter of the NAACP, Health Careers, and Sisters of STEM. She also serves as the Social Media Assistant for Spelman College, where she creatively develops content to highlight campus events and keep students informed.

    As a freshman in college, Saniya-Symone Scott is passionate about initiatives surrounding making healthcare more affordable and accessible, particularly for women and children in underserved communities. She believes that by improving access to quality healthcare, she can make a significant difference in the lives of mothers and their babies.

    Kamryn Johnson

    2024 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT

    Kamryn Johnson is a Sophomore, Honors Scholar at Clark Atlanta University, majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. Actively engaged in several campus organizations, Kamryn is committed to personal and professional growth while preparing for a future career as a marketing manager.
