Virginia "Gin" Griffin
Founder & Board Chair · Author · Entrepreneur
Virginia S. Griffin is a dedicated philanthropist, entrepreneur, and published author based in Houston, Texas. She is the Founder and Board Chair of The PGM Foundation, committed to "Empowering Texas Youth Through Education and Agriculture."
Through the foundation, she facilitates educational scholarships and sponsors youth stock-show projects, helping students pursue higher education without the burden of overwhelming debt.
A resilient entrepreneur with a lifelong history of self-employment, Virginia began her professional journey at age 11 as a professional pianist. Her entrepreneurial spirit has since evolved into the V.S. Griffin brand, where she operates as a creative leader and speaker.
As an author, she writes under the pen name V.S. Griffin. Her latest project, Gin On The Rox, is a work based on her own life — exploring themes of trauma, resilience, and the power of living one's truth. Virginia draws upon her personal experiences to inspire others to rewrite their own stories.

Sophilia Scott
Co-Founder & Chief Financial Officer
Sophilia Scott is the Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer of The PGM Foundation, where she oversees financial stewardship, compliance, and long-term sustainability of every program — from scholarships to the Harvest Meal Drive.
With a background in corporate finance and nonprofit governance, Sophilia brings a disciplined, mission-first approach to budgeting and grant management. She works closely with the board to ensure every donor dollar is accounted for and directed toward the highest-impact work for Texas youth.
A lifelong Texan, Sophilia is passionate about education access and rural opportunity. Outside of the foundation, she mentors first-generation college students and serves on advisory committees for community development initiatives across the Houston region.

Yes. The PGM Foundation is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible per IRS regulations. If you need a receipt of donation for filing records, please email contact@pgmfoundation.org.
Our scholarship applications open seasonally rather than year-round. Texas students passionate about agriculture, education, and youth ag-show projects are encouraged to apply when the next cycle opens. Email contact@pgmfoundation.org to be notified when applications are accepted.
Ag Show sponsorships help cover the costs of livestock projects (show animals, feed, equipment, registration fees) for young Texans participating in FFA, 4-H and county/state stock shows.
Each November, our volunteers help us prepare and deliver complete Thanksgiving meals to Texas families. Sign up as a volunteer to help with sorting, packing, or delivery.
