We are looking for dedicated community members who bring diverse perspectives, professional expertise, and a genuine passion for our cause. Ideal candidates will have experience or strong networks in one or more of the following areas:
Nonprofit governance, finance, or legal compliance
Agricultural education, farming, or ranching
Community outreach and youth advocacy
Fundraising, grant writing, or corporate partnerships
Marketing, public relations, or event planning
Board Member Expectations
Attend and actively participate in bi-monthly board meetings.
Commit to a standard three-year term and our give or get requirement.
Serve as an active advocate and ambassador for the PGM Foundation within your personal and professional networks.
Support our fundraising efforts and strategic initiatives to ensure the sustainability of our programs.
Current Open Positions
Board Member at Large: Serve as a core advisor and voting member, actively participating in strategic planning, community advocacy, and securing resources for our youth programs.
Community Partnerships Chair: Take the lead on bridging the gap between our foundation and local Houston businesses, schools, and community leaders to expand our reach and support network.
Agricultural Education Liaison: Advise on the development and execution of our farm and ranch initiatives, ensuring our programs align with best practices in FFA and 4-H curricula.
